TrueNorth Equestrian Center has a select group of ponies and horses that have taken our students from the basics to championships in competition. Our intimate setting allows students more individual attention and our hands-on operation offers demonstrations and clinics from many role models.
Classes meet afternoons and evenings during the week and morning and afternoon on the weekend. We also offer a variety of horse shows, clinics, field trips, summer day camp and other equestrian activities. To view some of our fun lessons both indoors and out on our XC courses visit our YOUTUBE channel.
We offer group and private instruction in English (hunt seat) equitation, dressage, and cross-country for children and adults.

TrueNorth Equestrian Center offers horse leasing to give our students the feel of owning their own horse. Leasers are responsible for riding at least three times a week including tacking and un-tacking their horse without assistance, and basic horse attention and care.
We also offers special group classes in various horse related topics from professionals, veterinarians, farriers and Instructors. Check our bulletin board for dates and times.
Proper Riding Attire: Safety is our top priority, and to make sure our students are safe at all times, we ask everyone to follow these rules:
SHOES: Please wear a boot with a heel and jeans or riding pants. (No open-toe shoes!)
HELMETS: Helmets are to be worn AT ALL TIMES when riding. Helmets are provided to students who don’t have one of their own.
Lesson Payment Information: If you would like to buy a lesson package (as listed above with the $20 discount for one month) the fee must be paid at the first lesson of the month. If you choose not to buy a lesson package then the student pays at each individual lesson.
Other Lesson Information: Because we have hourly lessons, we want to ensure that every student is allowed on-time lessons with maximum time on their mount. Students should arrive 20-30 minutes before a lesson to properly groom and tack-up their horse. If a student arrives at the scheduled lesson start time, grooming and tacking up will interfere with the actual mounted lesson time. Also, allow for 20-30 minutes after your lesson to properly cool down, un-tack, and groom your horse.
Lesson Cancellations and Missed Lessons: Lessons must be cancelled at least two hours in advance or students will still be charged for the missed lesson. If a student misses a lesson, they have two weeks to call and schedule another one. If the student does not call within the two weeks, they will lose the lesson and fee if pre-paid. It is the sole responsibility of the student to schedule and confirm a make-up lesson.
